Ingredients
- 8 chicken legs or wings
- Marinade
- 1 spring onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 4 tbsp rice wine
- 4 tsp fresh ginger juice, squeezed from grated fresh ginger root
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Using a sharp knife, make 4-5 shallow incisions in the sides of each chicken leg. Set aside.
Prepare the marinade by mixing the ingredients in a bowl until the sugar is dissolved. pour the marinade over the chicken, mix until well coated. Cover nad marinate for at least 3-4 hours or overnight.
Preheat a pan grill or broiler over medium heat until hot. Grill the marinated chicken in batches, basting with the marinade, until crispy and cooked 5-10 minutes on each side. Serve.
