Joy's Asian Noodle Salad

Everyone loves this as a side noodle dish. But....if leftover....the next day is way hotter!

Ingredients
- 1 - 500g pkg of Sempio wheat noodles
- 1/2 cup Canola Oil
- 1/2 cup Sesame Oil
- 6 Tbl Brown Sugar
- 2 Tbl Tabasco Sauce - (I use 1 tsp)
- 1/2 cup Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp SamBal Sauce – (I use 1/4 tsp)
- 1 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper - (I use 1/2 tsp)
- 2 Shredded Carrots
- 3 Green onions finely chopped
- 1 sm can Water Chestnuts, coarsely chopped (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Boil 6 qts of water, add pkg of Sempio noodles, boil for 4-5 minutes, when done, rinse in cold water, at least 3 times to wash away goo. Strain, put in bowl.
Mix together next 8 ingredients in a 4 cup measure cup blend well with wire whip.
Pour Sauce over thin cooked noodles, add shredded carrots and green onion tops and Water Chestnuts if desired.
For Asian Chicken Salad
Mix dressing and Noodles with the following:
Chicken Breast, broccoli, red pepper, red onion, snow peas, shredded carrots.
