Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Sift dry ingredients together. Mix salad oil, water, pumpkin and eggs together on low speed in mixer. Add to dry ingredients and combine. Fold in nuts and dates. Bake in greased 9 1/4x5 1/4x 2 3/4 inch loaf pan in 325 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. Cool before cutting.
