Ingredients

1 cup shortening
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup cornflakes
1 cup salted peanuts
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. In small bowl mix together flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Add to sugar mixture. Stir in oatmeal, cornflakes, and peanuts. Drop by teaspoon on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 minutes.
