Ingredients
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 1/4 C olive oil
- 1 Tbl white wine vinegar
- 1 Tbl Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp snipped fresh dill
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1/4 C olive oil, for brushing outside of bread
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices roasted turkey
- 1 small red onion, sliced into rings
Preparation
Step 1
In small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup olive oil, vinegar, mustard, dill, salt and pepper to taste. Reserve.
Lightly brush one side of each slice of bread with olive oil. Place 4 slices, oil side down on cutting board. Lightly brush top surface of bread with reserved vinaigrette. Place a slice of cheese, turkey and slices of red onion on each slice of bread. Brush remaining vinaigrette on remaining slices of bread and place on top of sandwich willing.
Cook until golden.
