  • l large chicken
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 1/2 cups broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cans sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • spaghetti
  • paprika
  • cheese



Step 1

Boil chicken with onion salt in water until tender. Remove meat from bone. Save broth. When chicken is almost done, make sauce.

Melt butter in pan; stir in flour. Add seasonings and broth. Stir and cook until thick. Add cream and mix. Remove from heat. Pour over chicken.

Cook 1/2 lb spaghetti in remaining broth. Add water if needed. Just before spaghetti is done, Saute mushrooms in butter. Pour over drained spaghetti and toss. Put in large baking dish, stir in chicken mixture. Sprinkle with paprika and top with cheese. Bank 25 minutes at 400 until bubbly hot
