Round Steak with Red Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 # round steak
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped red pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
  • 12 small red potatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Cut steak into 6 pieces and season. Brown in dutch oven.
Stir in soup, water,celery, onion, red pepper, and thyme. Cover and bake 350 for 1 hour. Add potatoes and cover and bake 1 1/2 hours longer. Makes 6 servings.
