Chicken Pot Pie(Channel Channel)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup celery chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion chopped
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • Salt, pepper, and sage to taste
  • 2 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3 chicken breasts, cooked, seasoned, and cut up.
  • 1 small bag frozen peas and carrots

Preparation

Step 1

Saute celery and onions in butter until transluscent. Add flour, salt pepper, and sage to make a roue. Add chicken broth to roue to make a gravy. Add chicken and peas and carrots. Makes 6 small pot pies. Brush with egg mixture and make 2 slits on top. Bake 350 about 45 minutes.

I used 2 batches of pie crust for the six pies.

1 batch:
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup crisco
1/2 cup water
