Whole Grain Pretzels

Ingredients

  • *SUPER FLOUR:
  • 1 T wheat germ
  • 1 T wheat bran
  • 1 t soy flour
  • 1 t nonfat dry milk
  • Whole wheat flour to = 1 c
  • 2 c Super Flour
  • 1 T canola oil
  • 1 c organic apple juice (room temp)
  • 1 T active dry yeast
  • Salt - optional

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine 1 C of flour, canola oil, apple juice and yeast. Beat with electric mixer for 3 minutes. Add remaining flour.

2. Knead for 10 - 15 minutes. Roll 6 pieces into long snakes and shape into pretzels.

3. Coat baking sheet with spray. Rise for 30 minutes

4. Bake at 450 degress for 15 minutes.
