Terry Friesen’s Slow Cooker Ribs

Ingredients

  • Make 2 kinds in slow cooker, wrap one in foil well to isolate.
  • Ribs, with the membrane removed
  • OPTION 1 Lemon and Seasoning Salt or Greek Spice
  • OPTION 2 BBQ Keg Sauce
  • Slow cooker
  • BBQ for finishing

Preparation

Step 1

1. Remove the thin membrane on the back of the ribs. If you can remove it, you will have tender, melt in your mouth ribs.
2. Lemon - sprinkle ribs with lots of lemon juice and seasoning salt or Greek spice.
3. Barbeque - smother the ribs with Keg sauce (if you are doing both kinds, wrap one type on foil.)
4. Cook in crock pot 4-6 hours on low.

About 10 minutes prior to eating finish on a hot grill ... basting with more lemon juice or barbecue sauce.
