Ingredients
- 2 1/2 plus 2 Tbsp. margarine,
- softened, divided
- 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown
- sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 tsp. vanilla extract, divided
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 cups oats
- 12 oz. bag semi-sweet choc. chips
- 14 oz. can sweetened condensed
- milk (NOT evaporated)
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
In mixer bowl, beat 2 1/2 cups margarine and sugars until fluffy.
Beat in eggs and 3 tsp. vanilla.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt and add to egg mixture.
Stir in oats.
Drop by tablespoonfuls on UNgreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes or until set.
Cool.
In saucepan, combine chips, condensed milk, remaining 2 Tbsp. margarine and 1 tsp.vanilla.
Over medium heat, cook and stir until chips melt.
Immediately sandwich cookies together with chocolate mixture.
