Ingredients
- 5 one lb. cans of white or kidney beans
- 1/4 lb. thick-cut bacon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup ketchup,
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 4 tbs prepared mustard
Preparation
Step 1
Mix ingredients in a black iron pan and then simmer in a covered grill for about an hour, or until the excess liquid simmers off. Move the pan to indirect heat (opposite the coals) and then cover the grill for an additional hour, or until the beans are just the way you like to eat them.
