Ingredients
- large potato
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 Tbsp. bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
- egg
- Small amount of flour for rolling out potato
- waxed paper
- round cookie cutter or even use bottom of glass to cut circles
- straw for eyes
- spoon for mouth
Preparation
Step 1
Peel potato and boil 15-20 minutes. Drain and add cornstarch, flour, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper. mash with fork and add egg. Flour waxed paper and put potato on and flour the top of the potato. add second layer of waxed paper and roll out potato. using straw poke each circle for eyes. using spoon make slit for mouth. Boil in oil in large pan 15-20 minutes. Drain and enjoy.
