Ingredients

  • ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter soft
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs

Step 1

Combine brown sugar, cinnamon and walnuts in bowl. Set aside
Combine flour, sugar baking powder, and salt in bowl. Add butter, sour cream and vanilla. Beat at stir speed for 30 seconds. Stop and scrape bow. Turn to speed 4 and beat about 1-½ minuets. Scrape bowl. Add eggs one at a time, turn to speed 2 and mix about 30 seconds. Spread half mixture in a tube pan top with ½ sugar mixture. Spread reaming batter and then top with reaming sugar mixture. Bake at 350 50-60 minuets.
