Gingersnaps

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup margarine (or butter your choice)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 21/4 cup flour
  • 2 tsp ginger (or more)
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg (or more)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 325F

Mix together margarine, sugar and egg until fluffy add in molasses.

Sift together flour and spices.

Mix wet and dry ingredients together until dough is formed.

Line cookie sheets with parchment.

Roll cookies into tablespoon sized balls.

Roll formed cookie in sugar and place on cookie sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, remove and cool on wire rack or eat. Remember to share
