Here's her take on the classic Chex mix — a nice break from sugary snacks. I swapped peanuts for slivered almonds due to tree nut allergies in my family. You could also use sunflower seeds to eliminate nuts completely.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups wheat Chex
  • 2 cups rice Chex
  • 2 cups oat “O” cereal (like Cheerios)
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Toss everything together in a large bowl. Spread out on a rimmed baking sheet and bake 30 minutes.
