Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 lb nuts
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Step 1
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Add finely chopped nuts and vanilla. Sift flour, salt and soda and add to mixture. Form into small rolls. Wrap in waxed paper. Refrigerate or put into freezer. Cut into thin slices and bake at 375 until brown.
