Ingredients

    cups all purpose flour

  • 1

    teaspoon salt

  • 1

    teaspoon soda

  • 1

    teaspoon cinnamon

  • 2

    cups sugar

  • 3

    eggs, beaten

  • 1 1/2

    cups oil

  • 1 1/2

    teaspoons vanilla

  • 1

    8 oz can crushed pineapple, undrained

  • 2

    chopped bananas

  • 2

    cups chopped nuts, divided

  • Frosting:

    8 oz pkgs cream cheese, softened

  • 1

    cup butter, softened

  • 2

    1 lb pkgs powdered sugar

  • 2

    teaspoons vanila

Directions

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl; add eggs and oil, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. DO NOT BEAT. Stir in vanilla, pineapple, bananas and 1 cup nuts. Spoon batter into 3 well greased and floured 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes or until well done. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove and cool completely. Frost and sprinkle with nuts. Frosting: Combine cream cheese and butter. Add sugar and then vanilla.
