Ingredients
- 1 lb EXTRA sharp cheddar, 1/2 pound Medium sharp cheddar
- and a pound of elbow mac
- thin slice the extra sharp
- grate the medium sharp
Preparation
Step 1
boil all the mac, put half of it in a 9x13, put a layer of sliced xtra sharp, dot it with cut up butter, sprinkle 1/2 the medium sharp
put the other half of the noodles on, another layer of sliced xtra sharp, dot it with cut up butter, pour milk over it about 1/4 of the way full in the pan, toss in oven 350 degrees for an hour
last 45 min, sprinkle on the rest of the medium sharp
oh... do not rinse the mac... do not stir the mac n cheese - its layered like lasagne
