Brownie Pudding

This brownie is moist, delicious and comes with its own chocolate sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 ml) flour
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) sugar
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoons (2 ml) salt
- 6 tablespoons (90 ml) cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk
- 2 tablespoons (25 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) chopped nuts
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) brown sugar
- 1 3/4 cups (425 ml) hot water

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C). Sift together flour, sugar; baking powder, salt and 2 tablespoons (25 ml) of the cocoa into a bowl. Pour in milk, oil and vanilla and mix until just combined. Fold in nuts and then pour batter into an 8-inch (20 cm) square baking pan. Mix brown sugar with remaining cocoa then sprinkle over batter: Pour hot water over mixture and then bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until brownie rises to the top and then pudding is bubbling.
