Sweet Dill Pickles

Take store bough dills and make them sweet

Ingredients

  • 1 48 oz. jar Vlasic Zesty Dill Pickles (do not use kosher)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Tabasco
  • 4 cloves garlic, sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Drain pickles and wash in cold water. Cut pickles into 2" chunks.

Begin layering pickles, garlic and sugar back into original jar, sprinkling layers with the sugar and the Tabasco.

Store jar in refrigerator unside down. Turn right side up and upside down 2 times a day for 5 days.
