Ingredients
- Chocolate Frosting:
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup water
- 3 Tblsp. Cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 Tblsp. Cocoa
- 1 cube butter
- 6 Tblsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- add powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Bring to boil:
shortening, margarine, water, and cocoa.
Let cool a little then mix in sugar, flour, eggs, buttermilk, soda, and vanilla.
Mix together until cake mixture is smooth.
Bake in large cookie sheet in a 400' oven.
Let cool then frost with chocolate frosting.
