Peanut Butter Blossoms

Ingredients

• 1 3/4 c. flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 c. shortening
• 1/2 c. peanut butter
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 tbsp milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• chocolate kisses

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together flour, baking soda and salt - set aside. Cream together remaining ingredients. Add dry mixture and mix until blended well. Shape dough into ball. Roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 mins. Remove from oven and place chocolate kiss in center of cookie. Bake additional 3 mins. Cool and serve.
