Get Acquainted Cake

Ingredients

• 1 yellow cake mix
• 1 cup water
• 1/2 cup pecans
• 4 eggs
• 1/2 cup oil (or butter)
• 1 container coconut pecan frosting*
• Note: * the frosting goes into the cake

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven 350F. Grease and flour bundt pan.

2. Mix together cake mix, water, pecans, eggs, oil and frosting. Pour into prepared pan and bake 35 to 45 mins or until toothpick comes out clean.

3. It doesn't really need a frosting. I sometimes put a glaze on it or sprinkle with powdered sugar. One reviewer heated an additional can of coconut frosting and drizzled it over the top.

Note: I have also made this cake using a chocolate cake mix, one reviewer suggested buttered pecan.
