  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg white, slightly beaten
  • filling - raspberry jam
  • crushed walnuts



Step 1

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in yolk and vanilla. Blend in flour. Shape in small balls, dip in egg white and roll in crushed nuts. Put on slightly greased pan. Make an impression in center of each with thumb or end of wooden spoon. Bake in 350F oven for 12-15 minutes. When cool fill center with jam.
