Ingredients
- 4 tbs butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cups Fontina cheese
- 1/2 cups mozzarella, grated
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 lb fusilli
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
In med frying pan, melt one tbs butter over moderately low heat. Add bell peppers and 1/4 tsp salt; cook until soft, about 10 min. Heat broiler. Butter large shallow baking dish. In large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fusilli until just done, about 13 min. Drain and return to hot pot. Toss the pasta w/remaining 3 tbs butter and 3/4 tsp salt, sauteed peppers, cheeses and pepper.
Transfer the pasta to the baking dish and sprinkle w/Parmesan over top. Broil until top starts to brown, 3-4 min.
