Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons berry sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
- icing sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter; gradually add sugar; cream thoroughly. Add vanilla and 1 Tablespoon water.
Combine flour and salt. Add to creamed mixture a little at a time, beating well. Flour hands and roll dough into balls the size of dates.
Bake on greased cookie sheets at 350 until light brown, 15 - 20 minutes
Cool and roll in icing sugar.
