Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces miniature marshmallows, frozen

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400.

In medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa and soda.

In large bowl combine sugars. Blend in butter; add eggs and vanilla; beat on medium until light and fluffy. Add flour and chocolate chips. Blend on low just until combined. Batter will be very stiff.

Gather 4-5 marshmallows in palm of hand. Cover with tablespoon of dough; wrap around marshmallows, completely encasing, forming a 2-inch ball.

Place on ungreased sheet 2-inches apart. Bake 8 - 10 minutes. Cool on pan for 2 minutes then transfer to rack.
