Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 fine, dry bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground thyme
- 1 3-4-pound chicken, cut into 8 pieces
- 4 Tbsp. (1/4 cup) butter or margarine, melted
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F. Put the flour, bread crumbs, and seasonings in a plastic or paper; shake to mixx. Add 2 or 3 chicken pieces to bag; shake well to coaat, and remove. Repeat with remaining chicken. Pour the melted butter and oil into a 9"x13" baking dish; add chicken pieces. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°F, turn chicken pieces over, and bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until tender.
