Ingredients
- 2 pkgs, quick rise yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 3/4 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 7 cups flour
Preparation
Step 1
In small bowl mix together yeast and warm water and add a little sugar. Set aside.
In a large bowl put the hot water, softened butter, sugar and salt. Add beaten eggs. Mix well. Add yeast mixture. Add flour slowly. Knead until stiff. Let rise until double in size. Divide into 3 equal parts. Roll out onto a floured board. Spread with melted butter. Cut into triangles and roll up. Let rise until double.
Bake at 325 for 12 to 15 minutes.
