Almond Poppy Seed Muffins

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 tsp. poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, 1 cup sugar, eggs, then add yogurt and extract. In a separate bowl, combine flour, seeds, salt, and the soda. Add butter mixture and blend until moistened. Pour into greased muffin pans, filling 3/4 full.

Bake 350 for 15 to 20 minutes.
