Evil Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Instant Yeast
  • 4 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 cup Warm Water
  • 1/4 cup Oil
  • 5 cups Flour
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 Cup Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon
  • Icing:
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 pkg Cream Cheese
  • 4 cups Icing sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla + 1 drop lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Dough:
Mix sugar, water, egg, oil and salt together in mixer.
Stir yeast with 2 cups flour. Add to water mixture and beat 5 minutes.
Add rest of the flour and beat 5 minutes.
Let rise in a covered, greased bowl in a warm place for 1 hour.
Roll out on floured surface to 1/4 inch thick. Spread 1 cup softened butter over dough.
Mix together brown sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle over buttered dough. Roll up jelly-roll style.
Cut into 12 equal sections and place in greased pans.
Let sit for 15 mins.
Bake at 400 for 12 minutes.
Mix icing ingredients together and spread immediately after pulling them out of the oven.
