Wheat Bread

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 4 Tbsp Instant Yeast
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 5 cup Hot Water
  • 3/4 cup Oil
  • 2 cups Flour

Preparation

Step 1

Mix first 6 ingredients for five minutes.
Add oil and second amount of flour. Mix.
Add 3-4 cups more flour, or as much as is needed to make a soft dough.
Mix for 5 minutes.
Divide into 6 loaves and place in greased pans.
Let rise 45 minutes.
Bake 350 for 20 minutes.

*Eggs and milk can be substituted for some of the water.
