Cherry Scones

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter-chilled and cut in pieces
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 Cups + 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cup dried cherries
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix in butter with hands until crumbly. Whisk together
egg, cream, and vanilla. Stir into
batter with fork until moist clumps
form. Add cherries and chips. Scoop
out 12 clumps of evenly sized batter
on lightly greased cookie sheet. Lightly brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
Cool on a rack.[
