Jalapeno Popper Bacon Bites

- 12 Wonton wrappers
- A muffin pan
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped jalapenos
- 1 cup mozzarella
- 2 tbsp cooked bacon
- Jalapeno slices

Preparation
Step 1
Spray the inside of a muffin tin with cooking oil to get your pan started. Layer six of the cups with 2 wonton wrappers each, to ensure that the base of the cup will be thick enough to hold up. In a mixing bowl, use a fork to mix together 8 oz of cream cheese with 2 tbsp of chopped up jalapenos. Fill the wonton cups with this cream cheese mixture.
Use 1 cup of mozzarella to cover each of the cups with a thick layer of cheesy goodness. Add 2 tbsp of chopped bacon, as well as jalapeno slices to taste. Bake in the oven for at 400 degrees (205 celsius) for about 10 minutes. After they have cooled for a minute and the wonton layer sets, removed them from the muffin tin and they are ready to serve! These jalapeno poppers are a different twist on the traditional dish, but they still bring a hint of spice to your palate.
