Ingredients
- 1 (12 oz) can V-8 Juice
- 2 cans (14-oz each) sliced-style stewed tomatoes
- 1 TB chili powder
- 2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 cup (1 medium) green pepper, chopped (optional)
- 1 (10-oz) can tomato soup
- 1 (l4-cup) Grapenuts cereal
- 3 cans red beans, undrained
- 1 pkg onion soup mix
- 2 TB molasses or brown sugar
- 2 ribs celery, finely minced
- 2 TB dry minced onion

Preparation
Step 1
As listed combine all ingredients in 3-qt saucepan or kettle. Heat gently, medium high, stirring often, till piping hot. Reduce heat to low. Allow to cook, covered, stirring occasional-y, till peppers & celery are tender.
Serves 6 sensibly.
Freeze in small portions to thaw & rewarm gently in 3 months.
