Ham Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 1 1/2 cups ham cut in cubes
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 small green pepper finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp monosodium glutamate
  • 5 eggs-scrambled with 1/2 tsp. salt & 1/4 tsp. monoglutamate
  • 3 stalks celery hearts fnely chopped
  • 1 Tblsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tblsp. salad oil

Preparation

Step 1

In large skillet heat 1 Tblsp. oil,
Add:
1/2 onion
celery
ham
green pepper

stir fry until everything wilts. Set aside in a bowl. use skillet again to fry rice.
Heat 1 Tblsp. oil until hot, then add 1/2 onion until lightly brown and add rice and stir fry, season rice with soy sauce and 1/2 tsp. mono glutamate. Mix well, add scrambled eggs, ham, celery, and green pepper. Mix well taste again. Soy sauce can be used if you desire. Serve hot with tossed salad.
