Ingredients
- 2 lb large or medium-sized shrimp frozen, cooked, ready to eat-slightly thawed
- 1/4 lb butter or margarine
- 1 TB lemon juice
- 2 tsp Worcestershire
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dry minced parsley
- 2 TB dry minced chives or onion flakes
Preparation
Step 1
Spread shrimp across bottom of a buttered 10" Pyrex pie plate or a 9" round baking dish or Quiche dish. Slip them into a 400F oven for about 5 mins while you pull out a medium sized skillet and place it over med-high heat. In it melt butter or margarine, without letting it get so hot that it might change the color. Keep the melted butter or margarine an attractive I blonde shade. Soon as it is nicely melted, remove it from heat and I stir in lemon juice, Worcestershire, seasoned salt, garlic powder, parsley and chives or onion flakes. Stir just to blend. Pour over the shrimp. Coat pieces well in the butter mixture. Return to bake another 5 or 6 mins or till piping hot.
Serve at once.
