  • French bread

  • 16

    plum tomatoes

  • minced garlic

  • 2

    tbsp. sugar

  • 2

    tsp. kosher salt

  • Ground black pepper

  • 1/2

    juliened basil leaves

  • 1

    cup fresh parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Heat 3 tablespoons olive oil in large saute pan (over medium heat). Add bread cubes and stir to coat. Cook for 5 minutes stirring often until evenly browned. Combine tomatoes, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper in large bowl. Add this mix to bread and continue to cook for 5 minutes (stirring constantly). Pour into baking dish and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
