MEATBALL SUBS

Use to make the meatballs in a crockpot while at the beach with the kids; froze extra to use during the week with pasta.




Ingredients

  • 4 6 inch hoagie buns, hallowed
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Meatballs w/Fresh Tomato Sauce
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Grated Parm cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat over to 450.

Shave thin layer off top of each roll. Remove some of the bread so you are left w/a submarine. Brush inside of buns w/olive oil. Fill each bun w/mozzarella and place them on baking sheet. Bake until buns are lightly browned and cheese melts. Fill subs w/hot tomato sauce, then 2-3 meatballs. Top w/more sauce, then sprinkle w/cheese.
