Ingredients
- 1 GALLON APPLE CIDER
- 6 LEVEL TBSP PRAGUE POWDER #1
- 1 CUP BROWN SUGAR
- 1/3 CUP MAPLE SYRUP ( DEPENDS ON HOW SWEET YOU LIKE )
- MAKES ENOUGH CURE FOR 20 LBS OF PORK LOIN.
Preparation
Step 1
PLACE ALL INGREDIENTS IN A NON REACTIVE CONTAINER, MIX THROUGHLY AND SET ASIDE.
PREPARE YOUR PORK LOINS BY REMOVING EXCESSIVE FAT,,, LITTLE FAT IS GOOD,, LESS THEN 1/8 INCH. RINSE OFF LOIN.
PLACE LOINS IN A LARGE CONTAINER THEN POUR CURE OVER THE LOINS.
PLACE THE CONTAINER WITH THE LOINS AND CURE INTO THE FRIDGE FOR 9 - 10 DAYS.
REMOVE FROM FRIDGE, RINSE OFF, PAT DRY, THEN COOK ON A GRILL, SMOKER OR IN OVEN AT 225 F TILL AN INTERNAL TEMPERATURE OF 145 - 150 F
