Ingredients
- 1 medium head iceberg lettuce
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 8oz. can water chestnuts
- 1/2 green pepper, seeded
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 10oz. package green peas
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tomatoes
- 3/4 lb. bacon, fried
- 3 hard cooked eggs

Step 1
Slice lettuce and spread over bottom of a wide 4 qt. serving dish. Thinly slice green onions & put on top of lettuce.
Drain water chestnuts, put over onions. Slice green pepper and celery and add to bowl. Add frozen peas (break apart if needed). Spread mayo over peas. Sprinkle with sugar, parmesan cheese, salt & garlic powder.
Chop bacon and sprinkle over salad. Chop egg and sprinkle over bacon.
Cover and chill for 4 hours or as long as 24 hours. Before serving, cut tomatoes into wedges and place on salad.
