Meals (Hamburger Steak and Coleslaw)

Ingredients

  • Hamburger Steak:
  • 1-1/2 Lbs ground meat
  • 1 onion,finely chopped
  • Bread crumbs,as needed
  • 1 egg
  • Salt & Pepper,to taste
  • 1 Can golden mushroom soup,divided
  • Coleslaw:
  • 1 head cabbage,1/2 carrot or bag of coleslaw mix
  • 4 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp sugar

Preparation

Step 1

For hamburger steak,mix all ingredients together with 2 Tbs of the mushroom soup and par-fry in butter until patties are set. Remove meat from pan. make beef gravy and add remainder of soup to gravy when thickening. Either place steaks back into pan with gravy,reduce heat to lowest setting and let sit on stove all day or transfer gravy and steaks to a slow cooker and cook on low setting all day.

For the coleslaw,combine mayonnaise and sugar;mix into cabbage and carrot or bagged coleslaw mix. (Best eaten the same day or it becomes too watery)
