Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove finely chopped
- dried chilli peppers crushed
- 1 can plum tomatoes, pureed
Preparation
Step 1
heat oil in saucepan and add onion, garlic and chilli peppers, saute together about 5 minutes
Add tomatoes, simmer on low to medium for about 10 minutes
Season with salt to taste. Add basil leaves at the very end
