Pate with FIg Jam and Figs

Ingredients

  • Liver or pork Pate store bought
  • 8 to 10 figs halved
  • Fig Jam store bought
  • brioche slices or foccacia
  • 2 tbsn evoo

Preparation

Step 1

Heat broiler

place EVVO in pan and bring to medium high heat

Season figs with salt and pepper

place halved figs face down and caramelize until deep golden brown about 1 minute

rub brioche or foccacia with evoo and salt and pepper an d brown under broiler

Warm pate in oven 30 seconds to a minute to warm thru

to serve place pate on platter and sprinkle with Malden salt and chives

Add fig halves and fig jam and bread slices
