Sunday Lunch Roast Chicken

This recipe is good for an organic Hutterite large chicken
50 minutes per kg (under 4.5kg) plus 20 minutes
a 3.3 kg chicken will take about 3 hours

Ingredients

• 1 chicken (under 4.5 kg)
• 1/4 cup butter

Preparation

Step 1

1. Baste chicken with melted butter, place in roasting pan (breast up) and cover with foil.
2. Set oven to convection 375 degrees F
3. Baste every 30 minutes
4. remove foil for last 30 minutes.
