Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Mix ingredients and store in an airtight container in a dark, cool place.
This yields about 7 teaspoons of mix, which is equal to one 1.25-ounce packet of the commercial product. Recipe multiples well and stores equally well.
To use: Brown one pound ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat. Add the Taco Seasoning Mix and 2/3 cup water. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Makes filling for 8 to 10 tacos.
