Foolproof FUDGE

Totally, truly FOOLPROOF Fudge! No candy thermometer or trying to guess what "stage" it's in ... EASY! ... Beth says she likes MY fudge best, but my only secret is leaving out the nuts!

Ingredients

  • 3 c. (18 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 14-oz. can Eagle Brand CONDENSED milk
  • dash of salt
  • 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts (optional), but leave them out if Beth is coming

Preparation

Step 1

Line an 8" or 9" square pan with aluminum foil; grease foil. In heavy saucepan, melt chocolate chips with EAGLE Brand CONDENSED milk and salt. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and nuts (if desired). Pour into prepared pan and smooth top. Chill 2 hours, or until firm. Lift out of pan by the foil and cut into pieces. Store, covered, in refrigerator ...
