Buttermilk Herbed Chicken

Ingredients

  • 8 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

In bowl or zip lock bag, marinate chicken in butter in fridge at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.

Combine crumbs, cheese and spices. Preheat oven to 350. Dip marinated chicken into crumb mixture and press coating mixture firmly onto each piece. Place on sprayed baking sheet. Bake 35 - 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
