Twix Bar Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 Cups plus 2 T flour
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 12 T unsalted softened butter
• 1 Cup packed brown sugar
• 1/2 Cup white sugar
• 1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 2 Cups coarsely chopped twix bars

Preparation

Step 1

325, chop twix bars into 1/4" chunks, combine dry ingredients, set aside, Blend butter and sugars till fluffy, add egg, yolk and vanilla till combined. Add dry ingredients and fold in twix bars. Refrigerate dough 2 hours. Drop on parchment paper and bake 13-16 mins or till lightly browned. Cool for 5 mins, transfer to cookie sheet.
